This 56KS cap gold model was the highest priced King Seiko model at the time, except for the KS BANAC.

CapGold is manufactured with more gold than gold plating.
It was the highest priced case for Kingseiko, and although it was first used in the 45 and 56KS, it was discontinued in a short period of time to differentiate it from the GS.
The 56KS Cap Gold model seems to have been produced just before the discontinuation, and was only produced for a very short period of time.
This watch was manufactured in September 1971 and has only the last two digits of the case number. It appears to have been manufactured in the early years.
KS CapGold is less common than GS CapGold, and this 5645 CapGold is very hard to find.


It has the original hairline on the top and sides. There are minor scratches, nothing major that stands out.

The original glass had only a few faint scratches, but has been replaced with the original NOS glass.
The rare SGP King Seiko buckle has a line scratch on the side, but is otherwise in fairly good condition with no peeling of the plating.

この56KSのキャップゴールドモデルは、当時のキングセイコーでKSバナックを除けば最高価格のモデルでした。

キャップゴールドは金メッキよりも金を多く使って製造されており、キングセイコーでは最高級のケースで、45KSや56KSで採用され始めたもののGSとの差別化のために短期間で製造中止されました。
56KSのキャップゴールドモデルは中止直前に生産開始されたようで、ごく短期間しか生産されませんでした。この時計は1971年9月に製造されたもので、ケース番号が2桁の初期に製造されたものと思われます。
KS CapGoldはGS CapGoldに比べ流通量が少なく、特にこの5645 CapGoldは非常に入手困難なモデルです。
ケースとムーブメントのコンディションはかなり良く、現行品に負けない精度を維持しています。

トップとサイドにオリジナルのヘアラインが入っています。小傷はありますが、目立つような大きなものはありません。

オリジナルガラスはうっすらとした傷がある程度でしたが、新品のオリジナルガラスに交換されています。
希少なSGPキングセイコーバックルはサイドに線傷がありますが、それ以外はメッキの剥がれもなくかなり良好な状態です。
