Launched to commemorate the 1964 Tokyo Olympics, the Seiko Monopusher Chronograph was Seiko's first chronograph model.
Soon after its release, the outer bezel was minor changed from Bakelite to metal.
This watch is the Monopusher chronograph 2nd model with metal outer bezel.

The original bracelet on early Seiko monopusher chronographs did not bear the Seiko inscription, and this 5719-8980 was sold primarily with a mesh-type bracelet.

This rare rubber strap version is a genuine strap that was only sold with this 2nd model. The material used for this strap is harder than the normal rubber strap, so most of the straps are now quite hardened and deformed, and straps in this condition are rare.【Buckle is also original】

Condition Details∶ This is a NOS(new old stock) condition. There are minor scratches from years of storage. With original box.
All parts are original.

After winding the mainspring, shake it slightly from side to side.

1964年の東京オリンピックを記念して発売された「セイコーワンプッシュクロノグラフ」は、セイコー初のクロノグラフモデルで、発売後すぐに回転ベゼルがベークライト製から金属製にマイナーチェンジされました。
この時計はワンプッシュクロノグラフの２ｎｄモデルになります。

初期のセイコーワンプッシュクロノグラフのオリジナルブレスレットにはセイコーの刻印がなく、この5719-8980に主に装着されていたメッシュタイプのブレスレットにもセイコーの刻印はありませんでした。

今回紹介するこのラバーストラップバージョンはこの2ndモデルにのみ装着されて販売されていた純正ストラップです。素材は通常のラバーストラップより硬い素材で作られたため現在ではかなり硬化してしまっている場合がほとんどでこのようなコンディションのストラップは希少です。

時計は未使用品です。ケースに保管時の小傷があります。

・操作方法：手巻き時計ですのでゼンマイを巻き上げてご使用ください。リューズをニ段引いて回すと針が動いて時刻調整ができます。一段引いて日付の早送りができます。時計の時間が夜の21時頃から4時頃に早送りすると故障の原因になりますのでお止めください。

・ゼンマイを巻き上げる際は巻き過ぎによるゼンマイ切れに注意して下さい。
※ゼンマイ切れ、日付の早送りの故障は保証の対象外です。
