セイコー インジケーター J14030N
Japan's first and Seiko's first automatic watch power reserve indicator.
It was made by Kameido Seiko and started selling in 1955.
It is one of the luxury watches before Grand Seiko was released.
The movement was made at a very high cost and was sold at a price about 50% higher than the high-end model "Lord Marvel" at that time.
Although not as famous as Grand Seiko, it is the one and only watch with the only indicator function in vintage Seiko.
セイコー初の自動巻き時計のパワーリザーブインジケーターです。
亀戸セイコーで作られ1955年に販売が開始されました。
グランドセイコーが発売される前の高級時計のひとつです。
ムーブメントは非常に高いコストで作られ、当時の高級機のロードマーベルよりも5割ほど高い価格で販売されていました。
グランドセイコーのように有名ではありませんがビンテージセイコーの中で唯一のインジケーター機能を持つ唯一無二な時計です。
Initially it was a movement of 17 jewels, but with improvements it has become 21 jewels.
The design is almost the same, and the shaft hole that is easily worn, such as the rotor shaft part, has become a jewel.
The indicator in this photo is a 21jewels type made in 1959.
The parts have been polished to give it a luxurious feel.
最初は17石のムーブメントでしたが改良が加えられて21石になりました。
設計はほぼ同じでローター軸の部分など摩耗しやすい軸穴がjewelになりました。
この写真のインジケーターは1959年に作られた21石のタイプです。
部品に磨きがかけられており、高級感があります。
The automatic function was a very high additional function at that time.
自動巻き機能は当時としては高度な付加機能でした。
Since the pinion of the third transmission wheel acts as a clutch, it is also designed to have a manual winding function.
3番伝え車のカナはクラッチとして機能するため、手巻き機能も備えています。

There is a pinion attached to the barrel arbor. It transmits both the rotation of the barrel and the rotation of the barrel arbor to the indicator wheel.

The remaining amount of the main spring is transmitted to the indicator wheel by the three gears that transmit both rotations and the indicator transmission wheel that has a clutch function.
