SD文字盤（Special Dial）
Grand Seiko Second 43999 began production in 1963.
After that, it will undergo minor changes and will change to 5722 and so on.

The case, dial, and caliber of the GS2nd are changed little by little, and there are 4 to 5 types each.
If there is a contradiction in the combination, it may not be the original.
The first of these was the star-marked SD dial 43999 in the photo. cal.430.
It went into production in August 1963 and was changed to an AD dial about 6 months later.
The SD dial (Special Dial) has a solid gold index bar.
The AD dial（Applique Dial） is plated on brass instead of solid gold.
グランドセイコーセカンドは1963年に製造が開始されました。
マイナーチェンジが多いモデルでケース、文字盤、キャリバーナンバーは少しづつ変更されていきそれぞれ4~5種類あります｡
その中で最初に製造されたのが写真にある星マークのあるSD文字盤の43999, cal.430です。それは1963年の8月の製造からわずか6カ月あまりでAD文字盤に変更されました。
SD文字盤 (Special Dial)はインデックスバーが金無垢の文字盤。 AD文字盤（Applique Dial）は金無垢でなく真鍮にメッキです。
Due to the popularity of the SD mark dial. counterfeit products have been made in recent years. The counterfeit products currently confirmed have a J in the letter (JAPAN) at the bottom of the dial, which is different from the real one.
If the year of manufacture engraved on the back cover is March 1964 or later and the dial is SD, it may be a counterfeit product. There is also a counterfeit replica of the medal on the back cover.
SDマークの文字盤は希少で人気のため近年偽造文字盤が作られています。
現在確認されている偽造品は文字盤の下の部分にある (JAPAN) の文字のJがSD文字盤のものとは違っています。
裏蓋に刻まれている製造年が1964年の3月以降で文字盤がSDの場合は偽造品の可能性があります。また裏蓋のメダルがレプリカの偽造品も多く存在しています。
