Citizen's vintage diver is the Challenge Diver, famous for its FUJITSUBO diver, but this Crystal Date Diver was manufactured in 1968 before the Challenge Diver, and was the first real diver model to be given the diver's name by Citizen.⁡
It is very rare model and cool among vintage Japanese divers watches.⁡

It has a cool design with a voluminous case, a bezel that rotates in both directions, a thick screw-down crown, and no crown guard.⁡
