King Seiko's second model has been switched to the improved 44A movement since late 1966. After that, the shield mark medal on the case back was switched to the SEIKO mark medal.
This watch has a movement of 44A and is a SEIKO mark medal.
I think the movement is hard to break and is in good condition.

This watch has not been polished in the past, so the edges are sharp and the distinctive design is not lost. I think this model will be less attractive if it is polished and the edges are rounded.
The engraving on the back cover remained in good condition. The medallion, which is easily damaged over time, is also in a beautiful state.

I replaced the crystal with a genuine New old stock.
As with the case, the sharp edges of the crystal accentuate the good design.

I think that the movement cal.44A of this model is a movement that is excellent in both durability and accuracy among Seiko's hand-wound models and has few weak points.
The movement of this watch is in very good condition, with good accuracy and I think it maintains the state at that time.

キングセイコーのセカンドモデルは、1966年後半から改良された44Aムーブメントに切り替えられました。その後、ケースバックのシールドマークメダルがセイコーマークメダルに切り替えられました。
この時計は44Aのムーブメントを持ち、セイコーのマークメダルです。
安定したトルクで壊れにくく精度も高いムーブメントです。

このモデルは、磨き上げてエッジを丸くすると魅力が半減してしまいますが、
この時計は過去に磨かれたことがないので、エッジがシャープで、独特のデザインが失われていません。ケースの裏蓋刻印は良好な状態で、経年劣化しやすいメダリオンも綺麗な状態です。

クリスタルをNew old stockに交換しました。
ケースと同様に、新品クリスタルの鋭いエッジが優れたデザインを際立たせています。

このモデルのムーブメントcal.44Aは、セイコーの手巻きモデルの中でも耐久性と精度の両方に優れ、弱点の少ないムーブメントだと思います。
